Helsinki Process event at World Social Forum

Helsinki Process on Globalization and Democracy will release its Track reports on the January 27, 2005, simultaneously at World Social Forum in Porto Alegre as well as at World Economic Forum in Davos.

Helsinki Process gathers business life, civil society, and governments of the North and the South together to search concrete solutions to problems created by globalization. Track reports will launch dialogue on new approaches to global problem solving, on financing for the UN Millennium Development Goals, and on global human security.

There will be a press conference held in connection to the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Earlier that day, there will a workshop on Helsinki Process themes organised in cooperation with Citizens' Global Platform, a network of Finnish and Tanzanian NGOs.
