27 November 2007   Helsinki Process Review Conference 'Inclusive Governance - Bridging Global Divides' 
The Review Conference of the Second Phase of the Helsinki Process will be organised in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from 27th to 29th November 2007.

The theme of the Conference is 'Inclusive Governance - Bridging Global Divides' and it will:
- Review the achievements of the Road Maps and Roundtables;
- Evaluate lessons learned from multi-stakeholder cooperation in different contexts and with different topics;
- Make recommendations for the future regarding which issues to pursue and how to organise multi-stakeholder cooperation in different contexts.
7 November 2007   Side-Event on Multi-stakeholder Cooperation in connection with the UN II Committee 
In order to promote the multi-stakeholder cooperation within the UN, the Helsinki Process will organise a side-event in connection with the UN Second Committee 7 November 2007.
4 November 2007   Workshop on Energy Governance 
The Workshop on Energy Governance will bring together a variety of leading analysts looking at different approaches to the governance of energy. The workshop is intended as the launching pad for a project that will take a radically different approach from that followed by most energy policy research programs. Rather than looking at energy in terms of sources and supply, the project will start with a focus on governance processes.
20 August 2007   Steering Group and Senior Officials' meetings in Pretoria 
The Helsinki Process Steering Group and the Senior Officials' of the Friends' governments will gather for back-to-back meetings 20-22 August in South Africa.
30 June 2007   Helsinki Process side-event to discuss multi-stakeholder cooperation during CSDF 
Helsinki Process will be present at the first Civil Society Development Forum organised by CONGO, 28-30 June at the Geneva International Congress Centre. Helsinki Process will host a workshop on Saturday 30 June at 11 a.m. to discuss the value-added of multi-stakeholder cooperation and how it could best be advanced within the UN.
24 May 2007   Democracy and Security - Which one first? 
The Roundtable hosted by the International Centre for Democratic Transition will discuss how to provide for security and democracy in transitional democracies, how to prevent state failure and how to ensure sustainable democratisation and the rights of all groups in society.
23 May 2007   Impact Assesment of ICT in Education 
The workshop organised by Egypt will continue the work initiated at the ICT meeting last September and aims to assess the impacts of the use of ICT in education.
21 May 2007   Roundtable on Global Economic Governance 
The Roundtable hosted by the government of Malaysia 21-22 May in Kuala Lumpur will examine the role of developing countries in global economic decision making as well as the interface between national and global policies.
12 April 2007   Roundtable to addres the Role of Religions in Politicts 
The roundtable hosted by the World Conference of Religions in Peace in Alexandia, Egypt, 12-14 April continues the discussions intiated in Kyoto last August. The meeting explores the potentiality of religions and religious assets in a multi-stakeholder approach to promote shared security and engage in conflict transformation.
26 March 2007   Roundtable to discuss Small Arms Transfers 26-27 March 
Canada will host a Roundtable discussion in Montebello, 26-27 March 2007 to address issues related to the transfer of small arms and light weapons.
19 March 2007   Co-Chairs Meeting 
The Helsinki Process Co-chairs, Foreign Ministers of Finland and Tanzania, will meet in connection with the Nordic-Africa meeting 19 March in Oslo, Norway.
8 March 2007   Steering Group Meeting 
The Helsinki Process Steering Group will meet for the fourth time 8-9 March in Geneva.
22 February 2007   Workshop on Human Trafficking 
Thailand will organise a multistakeholder workshop 22-23 February 2007 in Chiang Mai to discuss the experiences and the enhancement of international and regional cooperation in combatting human trafficking.
18 September 2006   Senior Officials' and Ministerial Meetings in September 
The next Senior Officials' and Ministerial Meetings of the Friends of the Helsinki Process will be held in connection to the opening week of the UN General Assembly 18 and 21 September in New York.
13 September 2006   Workshop on ICT Best Practices 
As part of the implementation of the ICT Road Map, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Egypt organises an expert meeting of the Friends of the Helsinki Process governments in Cairo 13-14 September 2006.
6 June 2006   First Meeting of the Consultative Network 
The first meeting of the high-level Consultative Network - to be held 6-7 June 2006 in Helsinki - will discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by recent developments in the world under the broad theme of the Changing Context of Globalisation.
29 June 2005   The Launch of the High-Level Helsinki Group Report in Collaboration with the Chatham House 
The final report of the high-level Helsinki Group will be published and presented for debate on Wednesday, 29 June at 13:00 at the Chatham House, London. In the event the Foreign Ministers of Finland and Tanzania, Mr. Erkki Tuomioja and Mr. Jakaya Kikwete, will discuss the report together with Ms. Mary Robinson, the former president of Ireland and High Commissioner for Human Rights.
31 May 2005   Strengthening the role of civil society in multi-stakeholder fora - how to do it? 
The workshop is organised by the Citizens’ Global Platform and the Helsinki Process on Globalisation and Democracy.
26 April 2005   Forth Meeting of the Helsinki Group 
The Helsinki Group will finalise its report and makes decisions on its strategy for communication and implementation as well as partnerships.
7 February 2005   Third Meeting of the Helsinki Group 
The Helsinki Group will review the tentative draft of the final report while continuing its discussion on individual policy proposals. It will additionally explore further its’ strategy for communication and implementation as well as partnerships.
27 January 2005   Helsinki Process event at World Social Forum 
Helsinki Process on Globalization and Democracy will release its Track reports on the January 27, 2005, simultaneously at World Social Forum in Porto Alegre as well as at World Economic Forum in Davos.

13 October 2004   Global Democracy Seminar in Helsinki 
The challenge of global democracy will be explored at a seminar in Helsinki on Wednesday 13th, October. The seminar is held in Finnish and is intended primarily for invited Finnish stakeholders, but other interested participants may also register for the event (registration deadline Monday 11th, October).
30 September 2004   Third Meeting of Track on Human Security 
The Track will discuss based on the draft report and agree on its final report to be released in January 2005.
28 September 2004   Human Security Seminar in Helsinki 
A human security seminar will take place in Helsinki on Tuesday 28th, September. The seminar will be held in Finnish and is intended for invited Finnish stakeholders, but other interested persons may also attend. Participants must register by Thursday 23rd, September.
23 September 2004   Conference on the Reform of the UN and other Global Institutions 
The conference is organised in cooperation with UBUNTU Forum and other globalisation processes in the context of Forum Barcelona 2004 - Dialogue on Contributing to the Global Agenda.
8 September 2004   Helsinki Process side-event at UN DPI / NGO Conference 
29 August 2004   Second meeting of the Helsinki Group 
The Helsinki Group will discuss nature and objective of its report with an annotated list of contents of the final report. It will start discussion on individual policy proposals.
