Round Tables

The Round Tables will answer the call by the Helsinki Group and the Helsinki Conference for continued multi-stakeholder dialogue. Following the recommendation of the Helsinki Group, the Round Tables will provide an equal and inclusive multi-stakeholder platform for dialogue on topics falling under the overall themes of peace and security, poverty and development, human rights, governance, and the environment.

The Round Tables will focus on global issues which need to be urgently tackled, are currently not being sufficiently addressed, and would benefit from multi-stakeholder cooperation. The Round Tables will aim at translating multi-stakeholder dialogue into multi-stakeholder action by devising concrete action plans addressing selected issues.
